StockScope PRO ("we", "us", "our") is operated by J3 Tech Ltd. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR.
Account data: Your name, email address, and password hash (never stored in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account name, email, and profile picture.
Portfolio data: Stock tickers, share quantities, entry prices, and dates that you manually enter. This data is stored in our database and is only accessible by you.
Usage data: We use PostHog (EU-hosted) for privacy-conscious product analytics — page views and basic navigation events — to understand how the product is used and improve it. Analytics profiles are created only for signed-in users. We do not use third-party advertising scripts, and we do not sell your data.
Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
We use your data solely to provide the StockScope PRO service: running AI analysis, monitoring your portfolio, sending alerts you have opted into, and processing your subscription. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@stockscopepro.com. We will action deletion within 30 days.
Strictly-necessary cookies: We use httpOnly authentication cookies (a short-lived access token and a longer-lived refresh token) to keep you signed in. These are essential for the service to function and are not used for tracking or advertising.
Analytics cookies: PostHog sets a cookie to measure product usage, as described under "Usage data" above. This is not used for advertising, and we do not sell the data.
We share data with the following service providers solely to operate the platform: Anthropic (AI analysis — stock ticker and financial data only, no personal data), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting), EODHD, Financial Modeling Prep, Polygon and Alpha Vantage (market data), and PostHog (product analytics).
